Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Shah is an alumnus of the Indiana University School of Medicine as well as a graduate of St. George's University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University where he was named "Intern of the Year" (1996), "Resident of the Year" (1997). After completing his internal medicine residency, he was asked to serve an additional year as Chief Medical Resident at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Shah has been taking care of patients in the private practice setting for 18 years. He is a firm believer in the collaborative model of healing where the patient is empowered through education and dialogue and expected to make her own medical decisions but with the benefit of a caring, informed medical expert acting as a collaborator.
Certified Physicians Assistant
Kayla Shelley graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Microbiology Degree in 2008 and went on to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.
Kayla began working with Dr. Shah at PrimaCare in 2012. She prides herself on the quality care she delivers to each and every one of her patients. Kayla specializes in women's health including PAP smears, gynecological concerns, menopause management, and hormone replacement therapy.
